Please note that these installation instructions are not directly related to any one piece of PHPCredo software, they cover how to use the AiRS system to install your software.

• Getting Started
1. 1. – Download the AiRS installer from here.
2. 2. – Upload the AiRS installer script to your web server.
3. 3. – Type the address to your copy of the AiRS installer.
4. Note: The name of the installer script is different for everyone, it can be renamed to whatever you like, this is an added security benefit to stop people for guessing URLs on your server in hopes of accessing the AiRS installer.

• New Installation
1. 1. – Choose the software that you would like to install.
2. 2. – Click on the New Installation button.
3. 3. – Fill in all of the relevant fields to continue with the installation.
4. Note: You will need to agree to the software & services disclaimer before you can proceed with the upgrade/restore.
5. Note: The installer will now perform checks on the server to see if the server will be able to provide full software functionality.
6. 4. – Click on Continue to begin the installation.

• Upgrading/Restoring
1. 1. – Choose the software that you would like to install.
2. 2. – Click on the Upgrade/Restore Installation button.
3. 3. – Provide the Upgrade Path to the software that you would like to work on.
4. Example: /home/www/public_html/phcdownload  OR  c:\apache\www\public_html\phcdownload
5. Note: If the installer has found your installation under the Searching for Installations.. section, then you can click on the Select button to use that path.
6. 4. – Choose the Upgrade Mode
7. Reminder: Download a backup of your database before proceeding with the upgrade by clicking on the Backup Database button.
8. 5. – Click on Start Tasks to proceed to the next section.
9. Note: You will need to agree to the software & services disclaimer before you can proceed with the upgrade/restore.
10. Note: The installer will now perform checks on the server to see if the server will be able to provide full software functionality.
11. 6. – Click on Continue to begin the upgrade/restore.
